Harford County summer events! Free to low cost!

Dive into the local community events.  Most low cost or even FREE! In no particular order, check them out! First one worth mentioning is First Fridays in downtown Bel Air.  Upcoming dates are August 4, September 1 and October 6 starting at 5pm.  Enjoy live music, beer and wine, and more.  Free to attend! Next up, Summer Movie Nights hosted on July 21st: The Grinch and August 18th: DC League of Super-Pets both starting at 7pm at Shamrock Park, Bel Air.  Free to attend! If you have never been to the Mason Dixon fair, put this one on your calendar this July 10-15th!  The midway opens at 5pm thru 10pm each night.  Check out their website for daily events.  Kids 12 and under are always free.   The Darlington/Dublin VFW Post 10146 @ 3440 Conowingo Rd., Street 21154 will host several family friendly events throughout the summer.  August 11th they will host a Car Cruise with a DJ.  Free to attend, food and drink avialable for purchase.  On August 19th from 11am to 1:30pm they will be hosting Family Fun Day.  This will include face painting, fire safety, obstacle course, school supplies, gently used clothing give away, bounce house and much more!  Free to attend!  The Chesapeake Bay Balloon Festival will take place August 4th-6th rain or shine at Cedar Lane Park, Bel Air.  There are activities for the whole family including air balloon rides, balloon glow, live music as well as a DJ, bounce house, games, vendors, food trucks, and more!  Children under 15 free to attend.  Adult tickets available for $25.   To wrap up, the last one on the list is Parks and Recreation Day fun at Flying Point Park on July 21st from 2pm-6pm.  There will be crafts, moonbounce, foam machine, field games, water activities, disc golf, flag football, lacrosse and much more! It is recommended to bring a change of clothes or wear a swim suit if you plan on getting wet.  Food truck on premiss if needed, can bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks.  All activies and events are FREE!  My hope is you are able to make some of these events!
